Regarding competitions in which the creation of a work is envisaged, it is limited to specific cases which certainly do not concern what private individuals can do. So it seems to me that: – the prize should not have a value greater than euro; – fishing is reserved only for non-profit organisations, associations or committees; – if they are private individuals, offering prizes could constitute an abusive exercise of business activities. That is: competitions can only be organized by companies, which must activate a procedure to pay the taxes required by prize events.
Unless they organize a competition provided for by the exclusions, namely: production of literary, artistic or scientific works; or with prizes not exceeding euro in value. The moral? Let's be smart: is it really worth risking possible photo editor sanctions for this? But, above all: let's assume that I'm wrong and that giveaways are perfectly legal: is it really worth offering free advertising showcases to companies, which make you work for free and in exchange have a great advertising return? If you can, don't work for free, but I'll add this, as I'm bad inside did I happen to say that already.
The Guardia di Finanza probably doesn't give a damn about the contests advertised through the blog. But I have this annoying fear: in Italy everything is already complicated, difficult, bureaucratized and indecipherable. Better not add to my problems. I've already opened a startup and I'm dying of bureaucracy. For the rest, what can I say: it's a real shame, it's also a bit disgusting . Shall we discuss how limited and unfair the regulations are in Italy regarding everything related to the Internet? But no, let's not discuss it, we already know.
